In October 2014, the City of Coral Gables invited qualified proposers to submit development concepts for two city owned parking facilities in downtown Coral Gables Garages: 1 and 4 on Andalusia Avenue, just behind Miracle Mile.
As of 2017, The Allen Morris Company and The Related Group, along with a world class team, has been recommended by the City’s Evaluation Committee to develop CORAL GABLES CITY CENTER, a transformational, mixed used project which looks to the future of the City of Coral Gables and its business district. The project includes approximately 140,000 SF of premier office space, 270 luxury apartments and activated ground floor retail that transitions to Miracle Mile through European style paseos. Most importantly, we have designed significant public benefits that include: a smart parking guidance system for downtown Coral Gables, ample public parking for Miracle Mile, a sky park and café and 20,000 SF of brand new City Administration offices. Our goal is to help create a vibrant walkable downtown for Coral Gables where its residents can truly live, work and play.
